Sundays for children

We all meet together for the first half hour of the morning service. Then children aged 5-12, go across the road to the church centre, for age-specific circle groups.

Under 5's: There is separate provision for 3-4's in 'Scramblers' in the centre after the first half hour.
There is a creche for under 3's, in the church (through the door behind the organ), from the beginning of the service.

Youth Congregation

For young people aged 13-19 years...

Sunday evenings (6.50 to 8.50pm):
Meeting just before 7pm for drinks, we chat and then come together to worship in different ways. Sometimes with music, sometimes not. Then some input on a relevant topic that provokes questions for discussion in our cell groups. This time is when we get to talk without adults and work out how what we are learning can work for us in our normal life.
On the 4th Sunday of the month we join with the evening congregation over the road for a joint celebration service: sung worship is led by the youth music group in their own style.

Cell groups:
These small groups of about 6 to 8 form the base of the congregation: here young people form friendships and are able to talk about life and faith with supportive friends who will encourage, challenge and pray for them.

Transformers:
An individual mentoring scheme for older members who wish to grow as disciples of Christ.

Holidays/weekends away:
We go away together several times a year - to Wales in the autumn and a summer camp like Soul Survivor.

Volunteering:
We encourage members to serve others in voluntary work and sometimes organise group social action trips. We support young people to work overseas during their gap year.

Youth Music Group:
Meets on Tuesdays (7.30 to 9.15pm) to practice and learn to lead worship for celebrations and our Sunday evening meetings.
